Guests Posted 21 January 2013 - 06:08 AM what do you get when a girl who only knows how to be happy meets a guy who's anti-social and they want each other to like them, because maybe they secretly both like each other. my friend says a good story idea. but its not a story, its real life. and what's happening is that both of them wont give in. the guy is a tad manipulative but that's how he always is, and once you see past it, its not that big a deal. besides, how do we know if anyone is lying when they say nice things and behave chivalrous? and what girl doesn't like surprising compliments? oh he knows how to be flattering, and is really good at getting people to open up to him, not just females. but like mentioned before, he's a bit on the anti-social side, his behavior can be erratic, its like he doesn't understand what kind of behavior is appropriate in which social situations. and after you've done just about everything lovers would do, and you think he wants to be with you, he can walk away just like that. for no reason too! and have the heart to tell you that he doesnt want to see you again. the girl is just as bad, i guess. i wouldn't know. but i could see how some boys would find it hard to be with her. people say shes way too happy. i personally dont think its a bad thing, she has a lot of friends. guy friends, girl friends, everybody loves being around her. and many guys tried to get with her, but later just gave up even though she never rejects them. best thing about her is that all that popularity doesnt affect her one bit, shes still the same, happy, caring, friendly girl she always was. its like she only feels one emotion; happiness. she knows how to have fun, and she'll even act a fool and act stupid just because its funny. and because of that, its probably why she doesnt like to talk about emotions and feelings. in fact, she never does. even if she feels down or blue once in a while, she'll never show it. once you start talking to her about feelings, and boys, and love and all that stuff, she'll want to change the subject to something... less serious. so i can understand why boys find it hard to get with her. that's probably why shes never been in a relationship. boys say all the time "oh shes more of friend-type of girl". well, it doesnt look like it bothers her one bit anyway.
so here's the dilemma. the anti-social boy likes her, probably because.. well, shes not bad looking. but thats probably the only reason. and he's been spending a great deal of time with her, more than he's ever spent with anyone else, i think he's trying to comprise her. it's hard to catch, but you can tell sometimes, its always personal questions hidden inside casual small talk. he got her to talk about the first guy she's ever liked, how she feels about boys who like her. but of course she doesnt really like to talk about herself, so she tries to change the subject to more, again, less serious things that are less personal. but he always manages to shift the discussion back to her. that's just how he is, i guess he likes to learn about people. but one line she will never cross is her feelings for him. he's tried several times to get her to confess her feelings. but thats not who she is, she never expresses her feelings, if she had any. so she pretends he's just another friend, another character, to her nobody is real, nothing is real, at least not real enough for it to matter. dont get me wrong, shes caring for her friends, but she never get upset or sad because of them. and for that reason, the boy, he feels as though he's not important to her. and that makes him want her more. and for some reason, she wants to talk to him, and she lures him to talk to her. and when she sees him talking to other girls, she forces herself into the conversation. could she finally be showing feelings?
i dont know, i guess this is pretty pointless to the people who arent involved. but i really feel like this is like a clash of the titans sort of thing. do you guys feel like there's any way these two can be together? i mean, given the profile description of both of them?
